Duncan and I have been growing cannabis in greenhouses and full sun for four years running, and are entering our fourth year of cultivating cannabis in living soil beds indoors. We grew up out in the garden with our parents, planting vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Additionally, Emma has lived and worked short term on several organic farms.

We plan to grow organic cannabis in greenhouses, insulated for a longer growing season and supplemented by some artificial light. With cannabis as a cash crop we can add on more hoop houses, establish the business long term, and dedicate resources to building our families. Our interests include soil science and the various networks that go into a thriving ecosystem. Integrated pest management is a huge part of our cultivation style, and we recognize the importance of protecting indigenous flora and fauna for its own sake, as well as for future generations. Our hope is to take our business fully outdoors to greenhouses and fields so that we can apply more permaculture and regenerative practices, as well as build and raise our families in a safe, natural environment. Farmhouse, greenhouse and other infrastructure are all helpful, but not strictly necessary.
