Past and Present Farming Experience:

With over a decade of hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, I’ve developed a diverse and well-rounded background in both crop and livestock production. My work includes managing both large- and small-scale operations, raising cattle, poultry, and other livestock, and growing a variety of vegetables for local markets. I focus on blending traditional methods with modern, regenerative practices to enhance soil health, animal welfare, and long-term farm sustainability.

I have overseen all aspects of farm operations—from planting schedules and rotational grazing systems to infrastructure upkeep, budgeting, and direct customer engagement. My commitment to education and community connection is reflected in my involvement with local agricultural organizations, seasonal farm events, and the promotion of local farming. Whether improving pasture systems, coordinating farm-based events, or leading soil-building efforts, I bring a strong passion for stewardship, productivity, and strengthening Maine’s local food systems

Business Plan and/or future farming vision and goals:

My goal is to find a property where I can build a meaningful, sustainable livelihood rooted in the land itself. With a diverse background in agriculture and land management, I’ve always believed that a successful farm should be shaped by the unique characteristics of the land, not the other way around.

My vision is to establish a multi-faceted farm that reflects the seasons and serves the community: a "pick-your-own" Christmas tree farm in winter, vibrant flower fields throughout spring, summer, and fall, and a flock of sheep for wool production. I also plan to build a large apiary to support pollination and produce local honey.

Above all, I am committed to cultivating a farm that’s ecologically responsible, community-oriented, and economically resilient—tailored to the land’s natural strengths and rhythms.
