Past and Present Farming Experience:

Connor has worked on organic vegetables farms and studied environmental science. He is currently working in food systems and centers climate resilience in his work.  Bella has worked on farms part-time alongside a healthcare career. A past life as a cook and baker has prepped them for a lifelong love of food and food systems.

Connor and Bella's dream is to steward some land together--fostering up perennial flowers, growing delicious heirloom vegetables, and preserving as much of their food as they can.

Business Plan and/or future farming vision and goals:

We do not have a business plan but have lots of ideas. We would realistically be looking at starting a homesteading operation before going to more of a business model. We keep on saying, "We just want to get the trees in the ground." Ideally, we would have a no-till vegetable, flower, and herb homestead. We do not have plans for large livestock but would love to incorporate ducks into a minimally invasive pest management system. We also have high hopes of planting native fruit and nut trees on whatever property we take on in the future. Depending on the space, we would also like to set up a HipCamp site or something interactive with nature that can be accessed by the community. A perennial flower path/You-Pick garden is another dream of ours that we would love to see come into fruition. Connor is also a licensed massage therapist and has hopes of an on-sight massage therapy studio someday.
