Past and Present Farming Experience:

I started farming just over a decade ago out of state as an apprentice on a regenerative livestock farm, working with beef cows(plus some hand miking), pigs, and poultry. After a few years I took over the pork operation, starting my own poultry and went into partnership on a new sheep (meat) endeavor. In late Spring 2023 I moved to Maine to help a friend restart farming on her land. I moved my sheep up in the winter of 2023.

I’m looking for more grazing space for my sheep as part of a sheep mowing concern. Eventually the sheep will be moved to help homeowners, businesses, and non-profits keep their land grazed regeneratively (along with light clearing)without the use of machinery & fossil fuels. Currently the sheep are in need of more grazing space than I have available. I’m looking for larger spaces I can use to graze rotationally and increase my herd. I’m also open to managing grazing on a farm full time either using my sheep or an owner’s sheep/beef cows. I’m also open to managing pigs rotationally if the space is appropriate for it. I’m currently living in Blue Hill so locations on the peninsula would be ideal.
