Lucius Rogers

I have 4 years of experience milking cows and related tasks ie feeding, cleaning, managing feeding of calves while I was in high school. My senior year of school I started my own haying operation producing roughly 1500 square bales a year and for the last 4 years I've ran it successfully. Im looking into getting some beef cattle this year or the coming year so Im looking into taking the steps to find my own farm to rent and hopefully to own.

I do not have an actual business plan written out but I do have my plan/goal that I'm building towards. My goal is to run a successful haying/cattle operation that can sustain itself while continuing to better the farm, the quality of hay, and cattle that I can raise. I believe in following organic farming practices so I plan to get organic certified when I finally do find a farm.
