Hello! I started working with plants when I was a teen at plant nurseries in MA. Once I realized that my goal was to pursue agriculture as a career, I enrolled at The Evergreen State College where I took classes in the practice of sustainable agriculture, ecological ag, and permaculture as well as co-managing the community gardens on campus. Once I graduated with my BA, I moved to Mendocino, CA where I worked on several organic vegetable and apple farms, before moving to Maine in 2019. In the five years since I've moved here I've worked on the Chases's Daily farm for three years and New Beat farm for two, pivoting my focus from organic veggie production to flowers. I have sold hand held flower bouquets for the past three years through a wide range of distribution techniques, including wholesale to stores and coops, CSA's and farmers markets as well as creating floral designs for weddings both independently and through Belladonna Floral.

I am willing to adapt with the land and the resources available on it, but my ultimate goal would be to grow cut flowers for wholesale as well as floral design. I would like to continue selling hand held bouquets and designing florals arrangements and installments for weddings.
