Past and Present Farming Experience:

Owned a three-acre farm for 17 years in Connecticut with my husband. Didn't farm commercially, but put in and managed vegetable and flower gardens, blueberry and raspberry patches, and maintained 21 apple trees. We built a barn for our two horses and three-board fencing, put in a back border of mixed evergreens and, in general, created a pocket farm that was downright magical. I'm a widow; I sold the farm after my husband's death because it was too much for me to handle alone. I have a degree in environmental conservation from UNH and love taking care of the land. I'm looking for the opportunity to help others do that — horses must be part of the mix, though! I could buy, or rent. I have young relatives who also may want to be part of my next farm, if I can make it happen. I'd like to be close to the coast.
