Turn-key operation, Swango Farm is looking to lease to a qualified vegetable farmer. The farm has a successful farm store on Route 1 in Bath, 11 acres currently in production, a 40x60ft barn, one heated greenhouse, and four unheated high tunnels. The soil is all prime veg soils, it is well-drained with no rocks. There is a walk-in cooler in the barn and a new cooler in the farm stand. There is the possibility of leasing equipment as well. The current owners are willing to be mentors to a leasing farmer, and live seasonally in a farmhouse on the property.
**Must follow organic management practices currently in use- not certified but following organic practices.
