Starter Homestead: As a farmer my near future in the business in this particular area is unknown, so I am open to options such as leasing it in full, or partial. I bought the land 2 yrs ago and have grown on the land for 2 seasons. The soil is of high quality as it was cultivated organically in the '80's and '90's by the neighbors, the original land owners. The land was then left fallow as mature trees grew in place. I cut roughly 1/2 acre of trees, clearing this area to utilize it as a garden like it was then. There was much horse manure added to the soil 30-40 yrs ago, and I have added a high amount of quality compost and broad-spec minerals the past 2 yrs. There are (8) 125'x4ish' rows with 4ish' wide spacing that I've created for optimum cultivation. I mulch in Spring and Fall heavily with straw. The soil has yet to be tilled, but I own the equipment to do so. Open to discuss camper trailer usage as an office/overnight spot.
